The About Me page trips people up because everyone has a labyrinth of stories and personality traits. 

I get what it's like to feel scattered & suppressed. 

It was 6th grade when I began to tone myself down. 

I gradually grew up and into greater fear of others’ opinions. I boxed myself up, little by little. 

By my mid-20s, the most important parts of me were deeply suppressed, trapped under a bubble of formal language, worry of bullying and fear of judgement. Finally, my self-doubt snapped like a pissed-off twig.

 
 

the truth is…

My personality & BRAND finally got tired of feeling hidden.

I decided to endeavor unveiling the woman god was asking me to be.

After years of masking who I really was, downplaying some of the most important parts of myself…

My soul could no longer take the cloak of invisibility I draped over it.

I came out of the “me” closet to share ALL of truths and quirks.

The results were astounding.

the reality is…

I am not just a happy goal-getter who loves coffee shops. I am more than a California native who became a full-time freelance writer at age 23.

I am both incredibly outgoing and deeply introverted.

I adore black nail polish AND bright pink outfits.

I am a Christian, fueled by faith, and a passionate advocate for mental health.

I believe in the power of prayer and fighting for equality & justice.

WE GET TO BE ALL OF WHO WE ARE.

We don’t have to put ourselves in boxes anymore. Just as we can experience both lamenting and joy in one day, both disappointment and victory in one season, your brand and self get to show up in all the ways that are real and true.

Every PERSON & COMMUNITY has a web of unique facets, and I KNOW that includes you.

This is why I am so passionate about Creative Direction & Brand Strategy.

Dare

I once took myself on a solo date to a movie. As in many times. All the time. It’s great.

My first big solo trip was 2 weeks in Hawaii. In a jungle area. Without reception. And many, many geckos.
I road tripped the United States for 6 months alone. Well, with my cat.
My friends asked me to cliff jump in Greece. Off Mt. Olympus. It was unreal.
